Need dance shoes?? — latin/ballroom ??
So right now I teach Zumba classes (latin/world dance fitness) and I LOVE it.. so much that I’m going to start taking private lessons for ballroom/latin style. They want me to wear heels.. between 2–2.5 in. … I’ve never danced in heels so I’m nervous, but more importantly.… what brands should I buy?? I don’t want to spend a ton of money on this… maybe $75 at most? I found a cute pair http://www.danceshoesonline.com/tags/ls_g1.html i like the style and I can get a cute heel at 2.2″ but are they comforable, how well do they hold up? what other brands would you recommend??

I am a ballroom/latin dancer and I use 2.5 in. heels. I reccommend a really nice brand, you won’t regret it! Ray Rose are excellent competition shoes, but if you are not planning on competing I would ask your studio about a local dance shoe provider and ask what brand is best. It is worth the money if you plan on taking dance far!

I agree. Find a local dance shoe store if you can. When it comes to shoes being able to try them on and see how comfortable they are is key, especially for dance shoes. Once you find a brand you like and know your size you can consider mail order.
